Default What is a good return for my first year trading stocks?

I am curious to know about the expectation I can keep on my first year. Please help!

If you are well knowledgeable, experienced, skilled trader and expecting 30% then you can achieve. But if you are beginner then you should expect 5-10% profit from your capital.

I tried it but failed. I think that if you want to make some money online, you should try reselling something. I like to do it. I have just got a huge batch of Cherokee clothing, for example, and I think that it is a really good way to earn money. What do you think?
